About BattleScrims

BattleScrims is a free platform for running PUBG Mobile scrims. It handles the parts of a scrim night that normally consume an organiser's evening: slot registration, room code delivery, team channels and results. It is built and operated by the BattleScrims admin team, a volunteer group of PUBG Mobile players and community organisers, and it is independent — not affiliated with KRAFTON, Inc. or with Discord Inc.

Why it exists

Organising scrims through a Discord server alone does not scale. Slot lists live in a pinned message that goes stale, room codes get pasted into the wrong channel or leak to players who never registered, and results end up as screenshots nobody can search a week later. Every community that runs scrims rebuilds the same spreadsheet, badly, and the person maintaining it burns out.

BattleScrims replaces that spreadsheet. Slots are claimed by teams and assigned automatically. Room credentials stay hidden until a reveal time and then go only to teams holding a slot. Each team gets its own private text and voice channel the moment it is created. Results are entered per match and become a standings table that stays online and public afterwards.

What we run on

Sign-in is through Discord, because that is where PUBG Mobile scrims are already coordinated. The permissions requested are the minimum needed: your Discord identity, and permission to add you to the BattleScrims server so your team's channels can exist. Player identity is tied to a PUBG Mobile UID, which an admin verifies by hand — Krafton publishes no developer API for PUBG Mobile, so there is no automated check available to anyone.

How it is funded

It is not. BattleScrims is free, carries no advertising, sells no data and has no paid tier. Hosting is paid for by the people running it. That is a deliberate choice for a community tool, and it is also worth being plain about the trade-off: the platform is maintained on volunteer time, so features arrive when someone has an evening free.

The BattleScrims Discord server is where to reach us — for scrim questions, disputed results, ban appeals, bug reports and data requests alike. It is the fastest route to an admin, and for anything about a specific scrim it is the only one that works, because we will need your team tag and the match in question.

Our commitments

• The schedule and results stay public. No sign-in wall on what happened in a scrim. Your team's record is yours to link to.
• Room details stay private. They go to registered teams only, at a set reveal time, and never earlier.
• Rules are written down. The point system and conduct rules are published, not decided per dispute.
• Your data stays yours. You can delete your account from your profile at any time. See the privacy policy for exactly what is stored.
